Description: Copper engraving with 9 various views of people and nature. This print is part of a series of engravings, made after after Daniel Chodowiecki. Chodowiecki's keenly observant and sometimes whimsical plates encapsulate nearly all aspects of human experience, ranging from natural history to military conflicts, or from scientific experiments to conjuring tricks, with a particular emphasis on trades and occupations, and frequently combine four scenes or more on one plate.
