Description: Antique map titled 'Systémes Géographiques de Ptolémée, de Strabon & d'Eratosthène'. Old map of the Geographical Systems of the ancient Greek geographers Ptolemy, Strabo and Eratosthenes. The map is divided into three sections with the largest, top center, illustrating the geographical system of Alexandrian geographer Claudius Ptolemy. The section in the lower left quadrant depicts the system of eratosthenes and the one in the lower right quadrant depicts the system of Strabo. Originates from 'Atlas Complet Précis de la Géographie Universelle' by C. Malte-Brun.
