Antique Print 'Great Skills have they in Palmistry' by Landseer (1828)
- Condition: Good, given age. The lower edge of the image stained brown (mostly affecting the blank image area), partially masked with white crayon to cover the stain. Print sold in matting. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Description: Antique print, titled: '"Great Skills have they in Palmistry"' - Monkeys dressed as people. Still smiling delightedly in the arms of her newlywed spouse (wearing silk top hat) the bride lets her fortune be told by a palmist (with a baby monkey on her back). From 'Monkeyana, or Men in Miniature', 1828.
Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Thomas Landseer' after own design. Thomas Landseer (1793-1880) was a British artist best known for his engravings and etchings, particularly after paintings by his brother Edwin Landseer.
