Description: Antique print titled 'Oude Haerlemmer Poort'. Original antique print of 'Haarlemmerpoort'. It shows an attempt by the State army commanded by Herman Helling and Nicolaas Ruychaver to take Amsterdam, November 23, 1577. Soldiers emerge from ships at the Haarlemmerpoort. At the top in the middle a banderole with the title. This print originates from 'Beschryvinge van Amsterdam' by C. Commelin. Published 1693.
