Description: Antique print, titled: 'Histoire Sainte. - Ancien Testament. Le Deluge.' - This plate shows a scene from the Old Testament; the deluge. From a Rare set of 60 plates showing scenes from the Old Testament of the Catholic Bible, from the creation of Adam and Eve, to the persecution of the Maccabees. Mostly from the books of Genesis, Exodus, Judges, Samuel and Kings, but also from Job, Jonah, Tobias, Esther, Judith, Daniel and Ezechial. Published in Paris: Dezobry et E. Magdeleine (Lithographie Becquet freres) c. 1840.
