Description: Antique print, titled: 'Indigenes appelant un navire etranger - 216, Ile Rotouma', Indigenous people of Rotuma island try to attract a foreign ship. One of the four persons on the coast waves a shirt above his head, to notify the passing foreign vessel of their presence. This print originates from M.G.L. Domeny de Rienzi's 'Oceanie, ou Cinquieme Partie du Monde', published in 1836 by Firmin Didot of Paris.
