Description: Antique print of the Djati forest near dessa Rengel, just over 19 poles from Toeban near the kali Rong Rengel on Java, Indonesia. This print originates from 'Het Kamerlid van Berkestein in Nederlandsch-Indie.', (translation: van Berkestein, member of the Dutch Parliament in the Dutch East-Indies.) by M.T.H. Perelaer, published in Leiden, circa 1888.

Artists and Engravers: M.T.H. (Michel Theophile Hubert) Perelaer (Maastricht 1831 - Den Haag 1901), also called majoor (major) Perelaer, was a Dutch writer, who was in Indonesia for years. The lithographs are after drawings by Jhr. J.C. Rappard.
