Description: Antique print, titled: 'Charles Lord Tablot Lord High Chancellor.' - A portrait of Charles Talbot, 1st Baron Talbot (1685-1737), a British lawyer and politician. He was Lord Chancellor of Great Britain from 1733 to 1737. Published by I. & P. Knapton, London, 1740.

Artists and Engravers: Made by 'J. Houbraken' after 'I. Vanderbank'. Jakob Houbraken (1698-1780) was a very productive Dutch 18th. Century engraver, who produced a great number of book-illustrations in the taste of the time. He also engraved many portraits and some prints after contemporary masters.
