Artists and Engravers: Made by 'J. Houbraken' after 'Kneller'. Jakob Houbraken (1698-1780) was a very productive Dutch 18th. Century engraver, who produced a great number of book-illustrations in the taste of the time. He also engraved many portraits and some prints after contemporary masters. Godfrey Kneller (1646-1723).
