Print of Chinese street punishments. Shows a prisoner, his arms bound and flags attached to his ears, walking to the left down a street between a man with a drum and another man with a handful of rods with which he beats him. A fourth man with his hands tucked into his sleeves brings up the rear. This print originates from 'The Chinese Empire: historical and descriptive.
