Description: Antique print with four coastal views titled 'The Prospect of the two small Islands, las Desertas (in the NE of Maderas) att 3 Leagues Distance. The Prospect of the Town of Funchal, and of the road, in the Island of Maderas, on ye south side. The Prospect of the West side of Gomera, from A to B at 15 leagues distance the Pico Tenerife appearing over at East. The Prospect of the Island Palma at 6 Leagues distance, seen from the South'. Three coastal profiles and a prospect of Funchal from the sea, illustrations from Jean Barbot's 'A Description of the Coasts of North and South Guinea; and of Ethiopia Inferior, vulgarly Angola...', as published in Volume V of 'Churchill's Voyages and Travels'.
