In the foreground a monkey pistoleer shies away from a monkey dressed as a ghost (with tablecloth thrown over himself), falling against another. A battle in the background. (The caption is a citation of Shakespeare's Macbeth). From 'Monkeyana, or Men in Miniature', 1828.
