Description: Antique print, titled: 'De Nederlanders worden wonderlyk vervoert en gevangen.' The Dutch voyagers led by Captain Corneliszoon Schaap (of the ship Breskens) are captured by the Japanese. According to the text, twelve Japanese fighters with drawn sabres fell on each of the travellers, and threw them to the earth to be bound. In the background of the image the train of the village elder is visible, who arrives a little after the Dutch are captured.
