Description: Antique map titled 'Charte von Polen'. Rare antique map of Poland detailing the dismemberment of Poland in the lower margin, based upon various treaty dates. The map shows the various parts of Poland taken by the Prussians (1773, 1793, 1795), Austria (1773 and 1795) and Russia (1773, 1793 and 1795).

Artists and Engravers: Franz Ludwig Güssefeld (6 December 1744 – 17 June 1807) was a German cartographer. He is noted for his highly accurate maps which were mostly published by Homannsche Erben ("Homann Heirs") in Nuremberg.
