About this sheet
Antique map titled 'Fiandra Parte Occidentale (..)'.
Depicts northern part of Flanders, from North Sea, extends through the northern region of France to the cities of Douai and Vieux-Conde located at the bottom of the map. Originates from Coronelli's Isolario Atlante Veneto.
Artists and Engravers: The remarkable Vincenzo Coronelli (1650-1718), encyclopaedist, geographer, inventor and Doctor of Theology, was citizen of the Republic of Venice. He was also one of the most prominent mapmakers and publishers in Europe of his day.
