The map extends from west of the Gujarat peninsula eastward to Bengal and south as far as northern Ceylon (Ceilam). Published in Ruscelli's 'La Geographi di Claudio Tolomeo'.
Artists and Engravers: Girolamo Ruscelli (1500s-1566) was an Italian polymath, humanist, editor, and cartographer active in Venice during the early 16th century.
