Description: Antique map titled 'Territorium Metense'. Old map focusing on the wine region surrounding Metz, in the Moselle region of France. Oriented to the west, it shows the area in great detail including cities and geographical features but also bridges, the ancient aqueduct at Ars-sur-Moselle, and the many vineyards surrounding the city. Source unknown, to be determined. 

Artists and Engravers: Johannes Janssonius (Jansson), ( 1588- 1664) Amsterdam was born in Arnhem, the son of Jan Janszoon the Elder, a publisher and bookseller.
