Description: Antique map titled 'Province d'Oran'. Old map of the province of Oran, Algeria. The Department of Oran existed from 1848 to 1962 and was one of the three administrative districts of French Algeria. The lower right quadrant contains a legend while the left and right side of the map includes decorative engravings illustrating the landscape and the town of Oran and the indigenous Algerians. This map originates from 'Géographie Universelle Atlas-Migeon' by J. Migeon.
