Description: Frontispiece to volume one of 'Gallia Antiqua'. It shows an allegorical scene with Mercury standing at left beside a nymph painting the 'Bataille de Soissons'. Tragan's column behind with an angel crowning the emperor. Hercules in a niche around the side at right, below which a nymph plays harp and another seated beside her holds a book inscribed 'Gesta Eran Corum'.
