Description: Antique print titled 'Loquebantur Omnes'. Etching on chine collé after the painting by Cornelis Troost. It shows a group of men is in a conversation in a smoke salon. There is a globe on the table and there are mapel cards. The clock above the fireplace is at 9 a.m. A maid offers a man who has something to drink aside. Part of a series of masterprints published circa 1850. 

Artists and Engravers: Made by ‘Tieleman Cato Bruining’ after ‘Cornelis Troost’. Tieleman Cato Bruining (1807-1877) was a Dutch painter, lithographer and book illustrator. Cornelis Troost (1696-1750) was an 18th century actor and painter from Amsterdam. He is mainly remembered for his works depicting the Amsterdam Theatre, as well as making theatre decorations.
