Artists and Engravers: Made by ‘Tieleman Cato Bruining’ after ‘Cornelis Troost’. Tieleman Cato Bruining (1807-1877) was a Dutch painter, lithographer and book illustrator. Cornelis Troost (1696-1750) was an 18th century actor and painter from Amsterdam. He is mainly remembered for his works depicting the Amsterdam Theatre, as well as making theatre decorations.
