An exceptional original antique color print depicting La Galerie Orientale (Côté du Vestibule d’Entrée et du Salon Directoire), from the celebrated Collection Henry d'Allemagne. This richly detailed composition presents an opulent Oriental interior inspired by Ottoman and Islamic decorative traditions, combining carved stucco arches, intricate tilework, historic arms, floral arrangements, and luxurious carpets.

The gallery reveals the eclectic taste of the Belle Époque, when collectors and scholars sought inspiration from the architecture and decorative arts of the Islamic world. Fine geometric ornament, Iznik-inspired ceramics, Moorish arches, and carefully displayed objects create a sophisticated and highly decorative scene that remains remarkably contemporary in its appeal.
