This vibrant 1740 engraving, titled Colossus Monarchic Statua Danielis Dan. II. 31, was published in Augsburg and offers a fascinating visualization of the biblical narrative in Daniel 2:39-40. The image represents the Colossus seen in King Nebuchadnezzar's dream, a symbolic depiction of the succession of great monarchies throughout history.
