Antique print titled 'Duroc, Aide de Camp du Premier Consul (..)'. Original hand colored print of Géraud Duroc, a French general and diplomat who fought in the French Revolutionary Wars and Napoleonic Wars. He was noted for his friendship with Napoleon Bonaparte, who appointed him as the first Grand marshal of the palace, the head of the Emperor's Military Household. This print originates from 'Iconographie générale et Méthodique du Costume du IVe au XIXe Siècle' by Raphaël Jacquemin. Published circa 1870.
