Antique print titled 'Amber Specialities'. Original chromolithographic plate of amber specialties including cigarette tubes, a cigarette cutter, a cigarette case and a pocket knife. This print originates from 'Gems', a catalog containing fascinating essays on 31 individual gem stones, as well as on heraldry, and the hardness of gems. The prints were printed using real gold. Edwin Streeter, an eminent jeweler from London, active in obtaining pearls and gemstones at their sources, was also the author of several authoritative books on the subject.
