Description: Antique print titled 'Interior of the Olympic Theatre near Drury Lane'. Arena and facade of the Olympic Theatre (now Aldwych). The Olympic Theatre, sometimes known as the Royal Olympic Theatre, was a 19th century London theatre, opened in 1806 and located at the junction of Drury Lane, Wych Street and Newcastle Street. This print originates from Wilkinson's two volume work entitled 'Londina Illustrata:Graphic and Historical memorials …in the cities and suburbs of London and Westminster'.
