Condition report
Good antique condition. Light overall age toning and scattered foxing, mainly in the margins. The engraved image remains clear and well-defined. A visible plate mark is present. No major tears or losses observed.
Framing suggestions
A dark walnut or black frame with a wide off-white mat will enhance the contrast of the moonlit scene. A double mat with a slightly darker inner line can add depth and emphasize the engraving’s tonal range.
