This exquisite hand-colored engraving, titled "Hochmeister des deutschen Ordens" (Grand Master of the Teutonic Order), showcases the ceremonial attire of the Order’s leader. This artwork is part of Christian Friedrich Schwan’s acclaimed series, "Abbildungen derjenigen Ritter-Orden," or "Illustrations of all spiritual and secular orders," published in Mannheim between 1779 and 1791.
