Wood Horsetail, Branched Horsetail and Rough Horsetail – Botanical Triptych, 1873
This striking botanical triptych presents three closely related horsetail species, illustrated with clarity, repetition, and strong vertical rhythm. The Wood Horsetail, Branched Horsetail, and Rough Horsetail are shown with their characteristic segmented stems and distinctive branching patterns, creating a visually cohesive and architectural composition when displayed together.
