This exquisite hand-colored engraving illustrates the Ecclesiastical Grand Master of the Order of St. Michael, titled Protector of Divine Honor. Depicted in ornate ecclesiastical regalia, the figure is adorned with a grand blue and gold mantle, embroidered with a celestial cross motif. This engraving is part of the celebrated series "Illustrations of all spiritual and secular orders" (Abbildungen derjenigen Ritter-Orden), created by Christian Friedrich Schwan and published in Mannheim between 1779 and 1791.
