Description: Antique print titled 'Kooren-Buers'. Original antique print of the 'Korenbeurs' in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The Korenbeurs ("grain bourse") was a 17th-century commodity market in Amsterdam where grain was traded. It was directly south of the Oude Brug bridge, on a spot now occupied by the former stock and commodity exchange Beurs van Berlage. This print originates from 'Beschryvinge van Amsterdam, zynde een naukeurige verhandelinge van desselfs (..)' by C. Commelin. Published 1726.
Artists and Engravers: Casparus Commelin (1636-1693), publisher and bookseller in Amsterdam.
