Antique print titled ‘Histoire Sainte, AncienTestament, Éliodore chassé du Temple.’ This plate shows a scene from the Old Testament; Expulsion of Heliodorus from the temple.’
This print originates from a rare set of plates showing scenes from the Old Testament and the New Testament. Mostly from the books of Genesis, Exodus, Judges, Samuel and Kings, but also from Job, Jonah, Tobias, Esther, Judith, Daniel and Ezechial. Published in Paris: Dezobry et E. Magdeleine (Lithographie Becquet freres) circa 1840.
