Antique print titled ‘Histoire Sainte, Nouveau Testament, La Présentation de Notre Seigneur.’ This plate shows a scene from the New Testament; The Presentation of Jesus at the Temple.’
This print originates from a rare set of plates showing scenes from the Old Testament and the New Testament. Mostly from the books of Genesis, Exodus, Judges, Samuel and Kings, but also from Job, Jonah, Tobias, Esther, Judith, Daniel and Ezechial. Published in Paris: Dezobry et E. Magdeleine (Lithographie Becquet freres) circa 1840.
