Condition report:
Very good condition overall. Clean image area with fresh colouring and crisp impression. Light, scattered foxing in the outer margins only, well away from the printed surface. No tears, folds or repairs. Plate mark visible. Margins wide and attractive.

Framing tips:
Ideal in a warm gold or antique gilt frame to echo the Basilica’s gilded interior. A cream or pale ivory mat provides balance and brings out the fine architectural detail. For a modern setting, a thin black or charcoal frame with a white archival mat creates clean contrast while maintaining the artwork’s historical character.
