Good condition with age-related toning and light foxing. Minor edge wear and slight irregularities along the sheet edges, typical for works of this period. Plate mark visible, confirming the engraving process. Overall well-preserved with strong impression and attractive original hand coloring.
Framing tips:
Best presented in a dark walnut or ebonized frame with a wide ivory or warm off-white mat to enhance contrast and emphasize the richness of the colors. For a more luxurious interior, a subtle gilt frame also works exceptionally well, especially when paired with similar costume prints in a uniform arrangement.
