Antique print titled 'Abitatori dell' Isole degli Amici'. Hand colored original antique print of natives of Tonga (Friendly Islands). King Poulaho in feather headdress, man in gnatoo tappa cloth, Chief Ataongo Otago of Tongatapu Amsterdam Island with knife, woman with tattoos in gnatoo. This print originates from 'Il costume antico e moderno ovvero Storia del governo, delle milizia, della religione, delle arti, scienze ed usanze di tutti i popoli antichi e moderno' by Giulio Ferrario. Published 1830.
