Antique Fruit Prints by Poiteau and Turpin, Hand-Colored Botanical Engravings This exquisite compilation features three antique botanical plates from the celebrated French publication 'Pomologie Française', originally published between 1807 and 1835. These hand-colored copperplate engravings were created by Pierre Jean François Turpin, one of the most accomplished botanical illustrators of the 19th century, and were based on studies by the esteemed horticulturist Pierre Antoine Poiteau.
