Set of 2 original antique botany prints from the work 'Botanica Pharmaceutica exhibens plantas officinalis quarum nomina indispensatoris recentur, cum Iconibus (..)' by A. Happe. The Pharmaceutica is a very rare work, even individual plates of plants are rare.

This set shows Rheum Rhapontieum and Rheum Palmatum. Rheum rhaponticum, the false rhubarb, rhapontic rhubarb or rhapontic, is a plant species in the genus Rheum found in the wild. Rheum palmatum is a herbaceous perennial related to the edible rhubarb. It is primarily used in traditional medicine, and as an ornamental subject in the garden.
