About this sheet
This is a large chromolithograph botanical print depicting the orchid species Dendrobium secundum Lindl. It is from the 19th-century publication "Illustrations d'orchidees des Indes Orientales Neerlandaises" by W.H. de Vriese.
The illustration shows the orchid's distinctive growth habit, with a prominent, elongated leaf and multiple flowering stems.
