Description: Antique print, titled: 'Wonderlyke toestel van 's werelds Schepper in den tempel tot Miaco.' - ('Curious statue of the creator of the world in Miaco'). View of a statue in Miaco (now known as Kyoto). It shows the creator of the world seated on a tree which rests on the shield of a turtle. A snake is wrapped around the base of the tree and held by five figures. Two are ancient Japanese kings, another is the Wise Man. To the left are two figures with animal's heads.
