Description: Antique print titled 'Batsheba bringing Abishag to David'. Large mezzotint depicting David, naked to the waist and sitting up in a luxurious bed, holding up his right hand and looking to right at an aged Bathsheba, who gestures to the partially draped Abishag, the young woman kneeling by the bed and looking down. Made after the oil painting now known as 'Sarah Bringing Hagar to Abraham' by Adriaen van der Werff (1659–1722).
